Betapoint was appointed as a strategic advisory partner with a specific focus on the group’s global campus headquarters and corporate real estate operating model. Our role included a review of all current owned and leased buildings within the core portfolio with a view to rationalising excess real-estate and consolidating the business into the most efficient buildings. Betapoint conducted an extensive property assessment focusing on the condition of the workplace environment, building fabric, services and accessibility and compliance with health, safety and environmental legislation. A multi-disciplinary team were deployed from our Strategy, People and Workplace and Facilities Management teams. We identified opportunities for improving connectivity between buildings and the co-location of business units aligned to the new company operating model. Betapoint also delivered a wide range of health and safety improvements, opportunities for cost savings and greater operational efficiency, as well as improving employee and customer engagement.
