End to end delivery of an award-winning new global headquarters Sasol

Sasol, one of South Africa’s largest, most respected multinational brands, experienced accelerated business transformation, placing substantial pressure on existing facilities. As Sasol’s strategic real estate advisory and implementation partner, Betapoint led and coordinated the construction of one, unified head office. Working in partnership with multiple stakeholders, we deployed a world-class, multi-disciplinary team to deliver a global headquarters that significantly optimises real estate costs, enhances Sasol’s brand and drives a high-performance culture.

Our solutions leveraged our Strategy, Transaction Advisory, Tenant Representation, People and Workplace, Project and Development, Relocation, Facilities Management and Art solutions teams. We led the development of the optimisation strategy, managed the transaction and acted as project manager and Sasol’s tenant representative. – including tenant oversight of the architecture, space planning and interior design, as well as facilities management service model design and procurement of service providers. The project was delivered under budget, on schedule and to the highest industry standards. In 2017, the project was awarded the Best Corporate Office, Best Interiors and the prestigious Best Overall Project at the SAPOA awards.
